I am all about the belly rubs and back scratches, the walks and the rewards to encourage the best behavior. Grooming? Yes! A bath? Absolutely! Let me know how I can help! Weekdays the kids are at school and my toddler and I can keep your puppy company. I often have availability before--and after--school hours, as well. I welcome the exercise and have a great neighborhood and home where dogs will feel welcome and would enjoy walks; or, I can also come to you. I've had a few dogs in the family: Maggie Mae, Max-a-Million, and Mariah. I am drawn to dog-walking and sitting because they have this signature way of always being excited about life, happy to see you, of bringing out the best in you, and their joy and love are infectious. I've spent plenty of time with dogs who wanted to RUN, rather than walk, or jump up and drool rather than wait calmly to be petted (my guess is you know what I'm talking about!) but I have a steady hand, a firm command voice, and knowledge to keep control of the situation while considering the dog's needs and feelings (whether the dog is physically uncomfortable with the leash, or is looking for a place to go potty, or interested in chasing a squirrel and needs to be kept close). Lastly, I know it can be difficult for dog owners to give their pups all the attention and exercise they need to be their healthiest and happiest; with my wide range of availability I am happy to offer help with that! I love dogs, I love people, and I love walking, so working for my community through Rover is indeed a perfect fit both for me and your pup.
