Pet care experience
My name is Shai, and I’ve been providing pet care for animals within our community for the past eight years. In this time I have worked on farms, with pets from individual clients, and even volunteered and fostered through the Forsyth Humane Society (FHS). I was even sponsored by the FHS to take a Canine CPR and First Aid course at Elite Canine, skills which I am happy to have and glad to have not yet needed! 🐕 I have a passion for animals, and want to provide the best possible care for your pets! I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own, creating a stress free experience for owners and pets alike. I want to become your pet’s best friend in your absence, and leave your home as neat and tidy as you left it upon return so you can focus all your attention on your furry friend! 💖 I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes including dogs and cats, horses and cows, rabbits and rats, hamsters and guinea pigs, turtles and geckos, snakes and frogs, and more! I don’t mind the challenge of a high energy pup nor do I mind working in multi-pet households. 🐾 I’m currently a full-time pet care provider, and would LOVE to work with you and your furry friend! Your trust and safety as well as your pet’s, your home’s, and my own are of the utmost importance to me. If you’d like to meet in advance to ease your conscience I am more than happy to do so! With your permission, I will share pictures of your pet on my Facebook page (Caring Hart Pet Care) throughout the stay, and can send them to you directly if requested. I do my best to accommodate your pup’s routine as accurately as you provide, but note that I refuse taking client’s pups to dog parks while other dogs are present (because I cannot predict whether an aggressive dog might be present and I am not comfortable accepting that liability). I am, however, happy to take your dog on a long walk full of sniffs and even a run/jog instead!

Prior to watching your pet, I request info regarding your pet’s vet a precaution that has thus far been unnecessary but something I like to have on hand! I took a course in canine CPR and first aid, but like to be further prepared just in case. Please let me know if your pet has any allergens or requires any medication prior to my stay!
A typical day
I try to mimic your pet’s routine to the best of my availability, and meet their individual needs. Some pups like to lay beside me on the couch, and some would rather take a jog through the neighborhood. I’m happy to do either! I also have puzzle feeders I can bring to help tire out your pup, and enjoy playing games with them to keep them entertained!

As a full-time care provider, my only conflicts tend to be prior bookings! If I don’t have a gig lined up, I should be fairly available to watch your furry friend!
