Pet care experience
For walks, I will make sure sniffers get lots of sniffs and runners cover enough ground! I’ll work with young pups to practice walking commands, avoiding mouthing objects, and getting comfortable with outside noises. Every walk will be tailored to the pet’s needs. For visits and in-home sitting, I encourage detailed instructions on your needs and how to best to care for your dog. Rest assured I will follow them closely :)

In my home, I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. For dogs with joint issues, please be aware that my yard has steps leading to the grass, but my home is single level. For sitting in your home, I will care for your pets as you wish. I may need to go back home to check on my own dogs when my roommate is gone, and I do work part time too, but your pets will not be left alone for more than 6 hours at most.

Please let me know if your dog has any fears, reactivity, health concerns, or special needs. I will do my best to accommodate to their needs to make them as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Typically I will take/let your pet out for potty time as soon as I arrive, right before bed, and immediately in the morning. If doing a multi-day sitting, I will give your pet two 15-30 minute walks a day (depending on the dog and weather), play time, and potentially some basic/fun training for pups. Food will be given per your instruction, and water supply will be closely monitored and changed accordingly. Daily reports and pictures will be provided to you!

I work part time 3-4 days a week, no more than 6 hours at a time, so I have plenty of time to give to your pets.
