Hi, my name is Shahir, and I can't wait to meet you and your pet! I became a sitter because I adore pets, and I can't have one of my own right now, so I'm here to give lots of love and attention to yours! Growing up with dogs and cats, I gained plenty of experience volunteering at animal shelters such as Chicagoland Dog Rescue and Almost Home Foundation and training as a veterinary technician. I have also worked with senior pets! Working with rescue dogs has made me very conscious of animals as individuals. Not every dog is a happy-go-lucky pup, so I like to know about their history before we visit. I understand dogs and cats that are a little more anxious, and I provide them with a calm presence during our time together.

Having never used River before I was a bit hesitant, but Shahir changed that! He watched my Sheepadoodle over the weekend and was very active and attentive. He took him on plenty of walks and made sure he got all of the attention and play that he needed. My dog and I would definitely recommend Shahir!

Shahir is very active and loving sitter. He loves almost all kinds of pets especially cats & dogs. He engages my dog in games and keeps her busy and active. Very loving towards my Yorky by giving her long massages and gentle hugs.

A typical day
When I am with your dog, we will take long walks through quiet streets, parks, and nature trails, sunbathe together in the yard, and play frisbee! If your pet is feeling tired, we can kick back and relax.
