Hello! My name is Shafali and I’m excited to care for your pet! I’m a local who has worked with rover and other pet care services for over 5 years… friends know me as the “dog mom.” I recently lost my dog of 7 years to cancer so I’d love to spend time with your pet and give all the love and attention they deserve. Given my dog’s illness over the last 4 years, I’m well versed in administering medication, sticking to schedules, and paying extra careful attention to your baby. Aside from this, I’ve cared for other friends’ and family’s pets and have been trusted by many.

We were traveling from out of town for a wedding and booked Shafali for the wedding day. Best decision ever. Shafali was amazing with our moody, separation anxiety-ridden husky mix. She had such a calm but assertive energy, which is exactly what my dog needed to have a good day while we were away. She was really communicative, and easy to work with. I would move to the Bay Area just for that quality pet care alone! She’s really the best!
Shafali is really good with animals. She knows how to calm them down when they can't be with their owners. She's the only person I leave my husky who has severe seperation anxiety with when I leave town. 10/10 recommend

I have no other animals and only will take 1 dog at a time (cats are more flexible). I have a fully fenced yard and large deck that doesn’t have any street access. There are also other family members home to keep an extra eye if needed, otherwise we have 2 floors and plenty of space for your fur baby!

A typical day
Trips to baker beach, walks through the Presidio, maybe grab a small treat at the pet store (with owner’s approval), lots of play time and sniff mats to keep them stimulated. Or if they’re a little older / indoor, we can do a small walk or backyard and cuddle up all day!

Availability
I’m flexible throughout the week given I wfh full time, so I can accommodate potty breaks, feeding etc… throughout the day. I don’t like leaving the pup / cat alone so they’re usually by my side all day! I also have a big backyard where pups can sniff around or just hang out on the deck whenever they’d like.
