Originally from Toronto, I’ve lived in Calgary for 3 years now! I work professionally downtown as an Animation Lead, working in the video game industry. I started Rover during my Bachelor of Animation degree and enjoyed the responsibility, independence and allowed me to stay active! I decided to continue Rover after moving to Calgary as it helps me explore the city, meet new people and interact with countless breeds as I hope to one day own my own dog! When I was younger, my family owned a big mixed black lab for 12 years of my life and he was my very best friend. It was tough having to put him down, but I’ve tattooed his name on my wrist and hope to build the bond I had with him with other dogs! My experience with dogs has vastly grown in the past few years, I’ve taken care of puppies, elderly dogs, rescues, and dogs with varying energy levels.
