Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs for 14 years, and was responsible for all aspects of their care. I walk my dogs every day if the weather is not too cold for Gus, the smallest pup in our family. The others walk every day, and are very well behaved especially when meeting neighbors. I have also learned the art of administering medicine, and catching their attention when they need to be distracted from barking.

I have a large, fenced in yard as well as two siblings who are experienced with taking care of dogs. There are two dog parks near my house, one within walking distance, and the other a large fenced in area separated in two categories: large dogs and small dogs. My dogs are smaller, so they prefer the small dog's area. Gus in particular loves attention from humans but not so much from dogs (he's a cranky old man) so it's usually Sherlock or Brody that like the bigger park.

A typical day
I usually make my dogs some treats with peanut butter and coconut oil on the weekends, and walk them to the local dog park. I have toys for my dogs in our back yard, which has been escape-proofed because of a troublemaker named Gus.

Availability
I have classes Monday through Thursday at Folsom Lake College. Monday's I am able to work afternoons, and Wednesday's I am able to work mornings. I am also available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am looking for long term schedules with some flexibility, meaning I do not mind rescheduling to fit the company's needs.
