Pet care experience
I grew up on a horse ranch, so I was taught from a very young age the importance of caring for animals. I have been taking care of my family and friend’s pets such as horses, dogs, cats, and ponies over the years growing up and it’s something I have always enjoyed. While a student in the pre-vet/vet-tech program at MSU I have been taking care of dogs, cats, and horses for people while attending college here in Murray. I also have over a years worth of experience working in a vet clinic and taking care of the animals that were there boarding. I recently was taking care of my bosses labradoodle while she went into labor while they were out of town and was able to make sure all puppies arrived healthy and safe! I am now a MSU graduate and veterinary technician. I have had both small and large dogs, so I am comfortable dealing with either!

Shae was great with my dog Addie, a 2-year-old female shepherd mix. On a Holiday with very short notice, she was willing to take Addie out for 3 30-minute walks, even though the weather was less than ideal. In the initial meet & greet with Addie, my girl immediately made a new friend, in Shae and I would recommend Shae to anyone who is considering using her. I know I will be reaching out to Shae the next time I need someone to take care of Addie.
Shae did fantastic with all the animals!! She cares for them like her own! Even when one of the animals had a medical problem, she gave top notch care. We will definitely use her pet services again!! Thanks Shae!!

I currently have 5 dogs and 3 cats. One Aussie mix and 4 GSD. Our dogs don’t go longer than 3-4 hours without being let out if my husband and I are both at work, but when we are home they go out every hour or so. We have a big yard that our dogs play fetch in daily. We also take our dogs to the dog park occasionally or on walks. I am used to giving medications, supplements, and injections as needed.

A typical day
I usually take my own dogs on walks, to the dog park, or to Hamilton field (near MSU campus) to let them run and play. Depending on what you and your dog are comfortable with, I would be willing to do any of these options.

I do currently work at a vet clinic full time, but still like to pet sit when I can fit it in my schedule! I am mainly available in the evenings and off on weekends.
