I grew up in home where my mother ran a animal rescue/foster care, and have experience with rescue pets from all backgrounds and levels of training. I’ve had rescue dogs of my own since I was 10. My first pup, Sparky lived with me for 16 years and I’ve never been with out a dog or two by my side since. I currently have two rescue mutts who are the lights of my life! One is a 25 pound mutt who loves to play and be active. The other is 7 pound chihuahua mix who is more low key and prefers cuddling over hikes, but still loves to join in a carrier. They’re both older and very well behaved, as well as friendly with people and other dogs. Because of my extensive background with rescue pets, I have experience with dogs of all walks of life. Some as big as 100 pounds and as small as 3 pounds. I have experience with puppies as well as senior and blind dogs. Dogs who are reactive are no problem for me, I pride my self on my calming energy to help soothe anxious pups. I’ve even delivered litters of puppies and kittens multiple times from fostering pregnant animals! I’ve also trained all my own rescue dogs who came from zero training backgrounds, everyone is always so impressed with their behavior.
