Hello pet parents! I've loved animals all my life and have had dogs, cats, a rabbit and horse as part of my family at some point in time (and am still an avid equestrian). I grew up in Hawaii and for almost two years after college we offered in-home kennel free dog boarding at our home. It was a blast; I loved all our pups, their quirks and personalities, long walks with the pack and cuddling on the sofa. We decided to sell our family home in 2012 and I moved to California, without a dog and into an apartment. Sadly my sweet Border Collie, Pokkie, passed away at age 13 and I really missed him. I started pet sitting for friends when they travel and loved having furry kids back in my life – So far dogs, cats and two rabbits. I’d love to get to know your four-legged family members too! My goal is to ensure peace of mind when you’re away that your pet is happy, relaxed and property taken care of. I regularly send photo “pup-dates” and texts to let you know how your dog or cat is doing. I look forward to long walks and exploring your dog’s neighborhood and local parks with them. I mainly work from home, only going in to the office twice a week in the afternoons (approximately from 2:30 to 6:30 PM), so I can be available for your pet during the day for cuddles, walks and supervision. I treat each pet as an individual and will do my best to meet their personal needs and stick to their routine to minimize stress while you’re traveling. I'll also help in bringing in the newspaper, mail and packages, leaving lights on and watering plants as needed, for example. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
