Hey, I'm Serena! My focus is to gain my client's trust through clarity and honesty. When you leave your puppy with me you can expect frequent updates; these include loads of pictures of where & how your pup is at all times! I understand from personal experience that leaving a pet with someone new is a little unsettling which is why you can give me your trust knowing that I will always be 100% honest with you about everything. I don't think as dog sitters we should cover anything up just for a good review. I personally feel that the pet owners should know what is going on with their pet good or bad. I always wanted to have a pet but my family never wanted one so when I moved here about 4 years ago I got my first pup. I think I went a little overboard with the excessive research on how to train and care for a dog, but I wanted to make sure my dog was well-trained with people and other dogs. Now I can use those learnings to take good care of your dog as well!

Serena was so sweet! My first time booking anything thru Rover. She took the best care of my Winnie (14mo Westie) that I have never boarded before. She was super kind as Winnie adjusted to staying at Serena’s house. Her yard is great and secure. She paid special attention to Winnie’s medication schedule and was super attentive to me as well in terms of communicating about how Winnie was doing. It helped me enjoy my trip as well knowing my fur baby was safe and getting such great care. Thanks Serena!

Let me know if your dog is friendly with other dogs because I do have a dog at home with me who is fairly playful. Also, if your dog is a male, I would prefer if he is neutered thank you! I would love to keep the same environment you have at home with your dog, so it would be helpful if you shared keywords and mannerisms that you’ve trained your dog with.
A typical day
Your dog will be physically and mentally stimulated with many activities around my community. We live in a neighborhood with a fairly good sized dog park, so we’ll be playing there during the weekdays, and, If your doggo is staying on the weekend, we can also drive to other dog parks!

Availability
I’m not working on anything outside of Rover, so I’ll always be playing, walking, and/or exercising your pet with mines! We (my bf & I) usually go on car rides to dog parks on the weekend. There is a dog park in my community, so that’s where we will be going on the weekdays!
