Pet care experience
I am a 42yrs old dog owner, I have owned and cared for many pets throughout my life. Family and friends usually come to me for help, advice or encouragement. I am certified in canine first aid. I only practice positive reinforcement, I am happy to continue with your training /teaching schedule whilst your dog is in my care. I have experience in caring for many types of dogs, young and old. My first dog as an adult was a Corgi x Jack Russel, he was ball obsessed and lived to 16yrs old, now I have a Podenco x Lab, He is 6yrs old and has a high prey drive, I use his drive as a positive, his training is part of our daily routine.

Serena walked my boy Banksy and was the most caring walker I have had. Banksy would be excited when she would arrive in her van. She took him different places as she knew he loves the water so he could play. I would highly recommend Serena as a loving and caring dog walker and she is sadly missed by us and Banksy.
Serena (or Aunty Rena as our dog, Paddy knows her) is the best walker and sitter we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's not only that Serena absolutely loves dogs (all animals in fact), it's that she has this intuitive inner knowledge and understanding of animals. We have met plenty of people over the years who although undoubtedly have loved being walkers and or sitters, we are yet to meet anyone who cares as deeply as Serena. First and foremost, she will take the time to appreciate your pet and identify with their personality and needs. I would never hesitate to highly recommend Serena for any job that entails looking after your precious pets as both my husband and I (and Paddy) have been extremely fortunate to have experienced her care first hand.

A typical day
I like to incorporate a little bit of everything when out walking, after all this is your dogs time. Whether your dog is on or off the lead, sniffing and scenting ones territory (catching up on peemails) is very important to them, I like to go to places that are familiar to your dog, whilst we are getting to know each other, once a bond is formed we can go on more adventurous walks. I promise to treat your dog as if they were my own, I know leaving your dog for any time can be very difficult, I will do my best to put your mind at ease by sending daily pupdates, videos and photos.
