Cozy home for small dog energy
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Serena, and Puig and Lola are my 8 year old Havanese roommates. We relocated to SF from LA. I grew up with pups and was the dog sitter for family and friends. Our home is clean and cozy. There are dog beds in every room and a nice spot for looking out the window. My pups are low energy and have sweet personalities. For overnight stays I limit bookings to one additional family. There is a 40 pound breed weight limit, but exceptions are made for large dogs with small dog energy. Puig is neutered and we do not host complete males. Meet and greets are required at least 48 hours before your pup’s stay. Pick up and drop off is available within a 5 mile radius. Puppies that are being activity potty trained are welcomed. We have a small gated backyard and go on walks after work. We are not a good fit if your pup does not go outside. For house visits, I will be on time and follow your protocol. I take notes and photos during our meet and greet, and review everything together before I leave. I’ll keep you posted when I arrive, send photos of your pup, and let you know when I leave.
Reviews
Serena is great! Our dog meshed really well with hers and had a great, no-drama stay.
Five stars! Serena was great with our pup Kai. She sent us photos and updates daily. We will definitely book with her next time.
Serena is a good sitter. She is careful to make sure your dog is compatible with her dogs. My dog had a good time staying with her.
Serena was so good to Frankie! It was our first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave her with a stranger, but Serena checked in multiple times a day sending pictures or videos and let me know how she was settling in with her pups in a new environment. She was easy to communicate with and Frankie came back a happy pup!

If your pup is upset or distressed I will let you know what’s going on and appreciate feedback on what might make them feel better. Our place is puppy proof. I have ruggables and washable throws because accidents happen. I love taking photos of pups and will send them updates. We have doggy gates in case pups need their own space or when I have to leave. For home visits, I can provide services while you are away or while you are home. After having surgery, I needed someone to help me take care of my pups and offer an extended visit discount. I will be on time, follow your instructions, and respect your home.

Information Serena C. would like to know about your pet
What time do they eat? Do they eat right away or graze? Do they need their own space to eat? What snacks, treats, or chews are they allowed to have or not have? Where do they sleep? Are they crate trained? How much time do you leave them alone? If you use pee pads, where do you put them? Are they spayed or neutered?
A typical day
Every day we go on a walk around the neighborhood. Lola usually works 9-5 as a security dog looking out the window and letting me know when a package is delivered. Puig is usually near me snoozing.
