Pet care experience
I love your dog already 😍😂🤷🏻♀️ Until early last year year when my oldest doggo passed away of cancer, I’ve always had dogs in my care. I’ve taken care of seniors and special needs, with repeated experience with epilepsy. My larger dog was reactive to other dogs, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs that are harder to walk and are aggressive at fences, etc. I’ve also attended several dog behavioral classes. I believe it’s important to provide enrichment and exercise, and to pay attention to changes in behavior. I genuinely love meeting and spending time with new canine friends. I’ve also fostered many kittens and adult cats through the SSPCA, in addition to volunteering to socialize dogs and cats.

Serena was absolutely wonderful! My pup suffers from anxiety and felt right at home! She was treated like family!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Serena provides loving care and she is a pleasure to work with!
Serena and Wes were amazing with our dogs, River and Fin. They had a staycation at Serena's house while we hosted a large birthday party for our son. Serena sent loads of photos and the dogs came home totally exhausted from all of the play. Will absolutley use them again!
Serena is amazing! She is so attentive and communicative, you’ll feel totally safe leaving your beloved pet with her. We will be asking her to watch Turner for any future trips!

My husband and I have almost a 1/4 acre yard, fully fenced and secure. We don’t currently have any pets of our own but do share a gate with my neighbors yard and let his dog over to visit and play. Totally optional of course, depending on your preferences. My neighborhood is quiet and walkable. I’m open to kenneling or letting your dog(s) free roam indoors while we’re gone. We have a doggy door but don’t leave dogs outside unattended. We have a camera we can set up in our living room while we’re gone to make sure they’re ok. I understand leaving your dog can be tough, and you’re obviously someone who cares a lot about their well-being if you’re hiring a sitter. My goal is to make it as stress free as possible. So - as many updates as you’d like, or level of detail in your care instructions, I get it. 💛 Doggone_alley on Instagram

Information Serena C. would like to know about your pet
Of course I’d like to know anything that will help me provide excellent care for your dog! Eating/ medication schedules, personality quirks, favorite spots to get skritches, basic commands, how they do home alone, etc. What rules you have for them. Veterinary info in case of emergency.
A typical day
Let me know what your dog likes to do for fun! I love to walk, especially at Ancil Hoffman in Carmichael. We can run around the yard- fetch, tug, belly rubs, etc. I have a neighbor dog who is very friendly and can come over for play time. While I’m working from home I’m in a comfy home office with a couch and rug/ dog bed so they can be nearby if that’s what they like. Kongs, squeaky toys, and puzzle balls are also fun! I can help reinforce any training you’re working on.

I work from home full time, which is pretty flexible and allows for many breaks. I walk in my neighborhood at least once a day, time of day depending on the weather. On weekends and some evenings I walk 2-3 miles at a local park with river access. During the week, I can provide potty breaks every 1-2 hours, but Friday’s and weekends I may be gone 3-4 hours at a time (date night, etc).
