(No longer have a dog, so any dogs which prefer a non-dog environment welcome!) My own dog came to me directly from and abusive home, and came to me with anxiety, trust issues and slight aggression. To even walk past her and her food could result in a nip. Through persistence and love, she became a happy loving dog, who allows me to take food out of her mouth if need be. I am very well equipped to deal with dogs that may be deemed “difficult”. Dogs that are boisterous do not intimidate me, whatever the size. I am good at reading dogs, and happy to give each dog what it needs, whether that is to shower it with attention or to give it its space. Your dog will revive nothing but love and respect at my hands.
