Rover is a great fit for me! I love taking care of dogs and just spending time with them. Since I work only about 16 hours a week, I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pup! I am currently offering drop ins, walks, and house sitting services. I have worked as an animal care provider at a pet store for four years in the past so I have plenty of pet knowledge and I am a lover of all animals. I was also a volunteer at the Greenhill Humane Society where I have been taught to use positive reinforcement training tools to teach dogs basic behaviors, reduce stress, and provide enrichment. I live in a house in a very woodsy area that is very dog friendly! I live only a few minutes down the road from the metro parks and I would love to take your dog with me on a hike or walk. Walks & drop in’s: many dog owners work long hours during the week so I offer drop ins, where I come over and let your dog out and feed them if needed. Or walks where I come walk them for you while you are away. For these services I prefer visiting dogs close to the Solon area. House sits: Being in unfamiliar surroundings is hard on pets who are used to the comforts of their own bed. While you are on vacation or just a weekend trip out of town I can stay at your home with your pup since that is where he/she is most comfortable. I know many dogs get stressed when their people leave them which is why I will take extra good care of them and send photos and updates if preferred. I love all animals and have previously cared for cats, reptiles, birds, and chickens. House sitting services can also include watering plants, changing the litter, checking the mail etc. I am experienced with dogs of all ages and breeds! I have most recently cared for dogs with diabetes, senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I am confident that I can provide your dog with great care and a whole lot of love and attention while you are away! I’m currently only working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! Other than that, dog walking and sitting is what I do most often. Be sure to check my schedule for my availability with house sits. I do my best to make sure clients are comfortable with me before staying in their home for house sitting services. I will offer a meet and greet when you send me a request and if it is a good fit we can take it from there! Clients will often request a second meet and greet closer to the service date where they are more thorough with their pet practices and ways of the house.
