Hi everyone! My name is Sequoia, and I’m a certified Vet Assistant with a passion for animals. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of growing up and working with animals. When I reached 10th grade in high school, I enrolled at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center for Veterinary Assisting! I was in the class for 3 years, earned my veterinary assistant certification, and graduated with all A’s! In the class I learned many, many skills from basic animal care, basic first aid, disease identification, nutrition, lab work, grooming, surgery prep, and much more! Since that time in the class I’ve worked in a few animal care facilities, including the Adam’s County SPCA. As of now, I’m taking a break from your usual 9-5 and I’m looking for an enjoyable way to earn some income. Work isn’t work if you’re doing something you love!

I am a very detail oriented person. I will care for your fur babies exactly how you’d like me to! We can go for walks, they will be taken outside (leashed) frequently, and they’ll have plenty of play time! They will always be safe and cared for in my possession.

I want to know how friendly your dog is with kids, other animals, and other people. If your dog has any triggers I want to know that too. Anything that will make the time I spend with your dog comfortable for both them, me, and anyone around us!
A typical day
I’m very much an outdoorsy person. If your dog loves car rides, we’ll go on a drive. If your dog loves hiking, we can go hiking. I’m also okay staying at home and chilling on the couch! I’ll do nearly anything to keep your dog comfortable while still having fun.
