I am a student attending Utah State University majoring in Bio-Veterinary Science. I have worked at a doggy daycare for over a year and now work with the Cache Humane Society. I absolutely adore dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and needs. I always had dogs in my home, my childhood dog was a standard dachshund named Daisy. She gave me my love for all animals, especially dogs. I often gave her baths, took her on walks, and took care of her feeding. Into her older age, she became incontinent, at this time I was 15. I was the one primarily taking care of her as my mother would be working. I learned a lot about senior care for dogs through this time. After she passed away at the age of 15, we adopted 2 dogs, a German Shepherd mix and a Corgi mix. My mother and I raised and trained these puppies, giving me experience with Puppies. Our corgi mix, Millie, had a litter of puppies in March 2022. All of this together has inspired me to pursue Veterinary Sciences.
