Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs since I was 6, cared for large breeds for about 4 years. I’ve handled dogs up to 160lb, so large breeds are not an issue for me. My fiance works in dog/cat nutrition, so we’re both surrounded by them all the time. From Cane Corsos, to maltipoos I love all breeds. Cats have never caused an issue for me. I have always felt a deep connection to animals, and I understand they are not just a pet but also our life long friends who deserve to be respected and treated as such. I would love to work with your animals and look forward to meeting them.

Selyna has been watching my dog for about year now , when I go away have an event exc: she can brighten the whole room. my other dog past away n Selyna made sure to bring her dog over so my other dog would t be lonely. Dog sitting is definitely a career I can see her doing .. even if it’s short notice don’t worry she’ll be there. she became part of our family.. The best dog sitter n all around pet sitter! You will not regret it if she became part of your family .. thank you!!!!
Selyna is just truly an animal lover and very professional. I met her when we were neighbors and I became ill. I had a 100 lb pitbull that meant the world to me but it was becoming more difficult to walk him three times a day for the time he needed. Selyna jumped right in and did the walking for me. She actually started bringing her dog Bentley and max and Bentley then became best friends. Selyna is very reliable, accommodating and took very good care of my max for me. I would recommend Selyna with anyone’s furbaby

Pets in my care are only fed what and when the owners tell me. A dog or cat in my care will not be given any treats or food without owners prior consent. I have a large fenced in back yard for dogs to play and a two story home with a room dedicated to my dogs crate and belongings. If a dog becomes over stimulated (mine or yours) they will be separated to avoid any stress.

Any male dog staying in my home over 6m/o must be fixed. Any female dog staying in my home must be fixed. Please make me aware of any triggers for your dog, prior to me walking them. Such as dog reactivity, fear of bicycles, cars, etc. If your dog is over 70lb and not leash trained I will not be able to walk your dog.
A typical day
I have plenty of puzzles to play (if given permission to give your dog my treats, or supplied with yours) I have many balls, hard toys, squeak toys, and ropes. There’s also a long trail in the woods behind my home, if that is something your dog will enjoy. If not I live in a quiet neighborhood perfectly suitable to walk your dog in the streets surrounding my home.

I work part-time in retail. I update my calendar on Rover accordingly. I can request off from my job for any day of the week, if I know two weeks in advance.
