I got my first pup, Chester, when I was 9. He and I quickly became close and eventually I convinced my mom to let him sleep in my room permanently. Joining the military and moving out of my parents house meant I had to leave Chester behind, so I started fostering pups here and there until I was forced to move again. Settling in Virginia, my husband and I got Beaux. Beaux filled a gap in my heart. A couple months later, we decided Beaux needed a friend, so we fostered and then adopted Milo from a nearby shelter. Our hearts were full, but not complete. We knew we were missing a tiny piece. This resulted in us getting Maya, our little lady. Hearts content, we decided we needed a bigger place to live with a yard and moved town to E-City. Each of my pups has had individual wants and needs, and after 14 years you kinda get a feel for it. Each pup is special and unique, and I will aim to make your pup feel that way too while you’re away
