I had 2 dogs growing up - the oldest was rescued from a farm and had no skills at all. I took onto training her and she is so well behaved now after all this time! She can sit/lay down on command, is not food driven and will let anyone touch her (or trim her nails!). I also had a neighborhood pet walking/sitting "business" from 8-15 years old; sometimes I would even care for some horses! I raised money and worked with the SPCA for years on top of that which is currently something I have dearly missed during the pandemic. I can also provide reference from my last landlord as I cared for her 6 puppies at times! I currently work roughly 25 hour weeks which leads me with some flexibility when it comes to house sitting during the week. Dog walking will be more select and only available for weekends due to the nature of my job I am more than willing to follow any guidelines or rules you hold for your pet at meal time, play time, walk time, sleep time. I know routine is important for pets and want them to be comfortable - some animals become anxious with new people/guests so I would want to make sure everything is as normal/routine as possible. I was an active member of rover in Vancouver and cannot wait to start my sitting/walking in the Okanagan!
