Continue below. I am retired and home most of the time. Your pets are supervised by me inside and outside of my home. When pets are outdoors I am either out there with them or watching them at all times I have always had dogs ever since I was a child. My Husband (now deceased) and I showed Afghan Hounds in the 70's through the early 80's. We had several Champions back then. We also always owned Dobermans too. I now have 2 Rescue Cavaliers. They are the love of my life. Due to being retired from the Government (Missouri & Florida). I now spend most of my time with my dogs. I have had my Lexi for approximately 7 yrs. and my new 18 month old puppy for 6 months. I have a 6 ft. vinyl solid fence around my entire back yard. I never let my dogs out back without my supervision. Dogs that would stay here for day or and overnight care would be treated just like my own 2 spoiled girls. We have watched many dogs over the years. Sometimes neighbors dogs or family dogs as well. I would expect all dogs to be staying here, whether for the daytime only or for overnight, to have proof of updated vaccinations as necessary going by the laws of Indiana. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I was a child. In the 19 70's & 80's, my husband & I fell in love with Afghan Hounds and after buying a show prospect, we were hooked on showing dogs. We showed dogs for many years. We also had Dobermans throughout the years. My husband passed away a few years ago and I now live with my 2 wonderful King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. Meet my pets My 2 Rescue Cavaliers are very gentle and laid back. It's their nature to not fight or hit back if another dog attacks them. We cannot have any dog guests that are overly active enough to be aggressive towards my Cavs in a mean way. I don't want my dogs to be stressed out by a guest dog that we are watching to have fun. Sorry, but I have to make sure my dogs are kept in their comfort zone while in their own home. About my yard My backyard if fenced with white vinyl fencing. approx. 130 running feet; about 60 feet across the back & 35 feet from the back to the side of the back of the house. My experience administering medication Yes. I give my dogs meds when necessary (heartworm/flea pills) monthly. I can also do daycare.
