Selena is caring and compassionate. She is dedicated to the care of animals and is trustworthy and reliable. She is cognizant of changes in pet behavior and knowledgeable of the care and attention needed. Additionally, she is enthusiastic about pets. My dog Olive allows very, very few people to take her out but she loves to go on walks with Selena. I never, never worry about my dog or my cat when Selena is caring for them. Your pets are good hands with Selena - just as good as your own!

I’m mature and responsible and happy to bring in mail/packages and turn lights on/off for safety. My home is safe and secure with a doggy door to a fully fenced patio and dog run, and my three little fur-babies are all socialized, spayed, fully vaccinated and on the best prescription flea/tick/heartworm prevention on the market.

* Clients’ pets that stay in our home MUST be on a reliable form of flea preventative. (LA has the worst fleas in the country!) * Please let me know of any current illnesses or concerns - both behavioral and physical. I am well-versed in breed specific traits and limitations.
A typical day
For leash walks with healthy/active pets, I like to split the walk into supervised sniffing/stimulation and going potty and second half being a good pace of solid walking/trotting for exercise. In my home, there are many safe toys and room to run around inside and out and play chase!

I’m freshly retired from working in veterinary medicine and so happy to make caring for beloved pets my next adventure:) My animal lover husband Jim has a 50/50 balance of working from home and traveling so I sometimes have a little back-up help.
