I’ve been around animals my whole life and have helped raise many puppies. I am the proud mom of a 3 year old Dorgi named Jasper! So I definitely know the love and patience and attention needed to make sure animals are well taken care of. I previously worked for Wag! and acquired over 2 years of experience in walks and house sittings and made many furry friends along the way! For house sittings I make sure the animals go on frequent potty trips and at least one walk a day (or more as specified by owner). I make sure to adhere to the owner’s specified meal times and desired food because no one likes a hangry pet! I always make sure to have designated time for playing and petting because I know separation is just as hard for the animal as it is for you and you can never have too much attention and affection! I also like to update the owner throughout the day on what we’ve been up to and send some pictures so you can feel assured your pet is safe and happy and taken care of! When it comes to walks I always make sure to bring along some potty bags and water. I make sure to pay attention to the dog’s mood and signals, for example, if a dog is walking and all of a sudden slows down and sits then I make sure to take a little break and give them some water until they are good to go again! I am also very good at working with younger dogs and helping them become comfortable on a leash and helping them to learn not to tug or run ahead. At the end of each walk I make sure to give a few pats and (only if the owner allows ahead of time) give them a small treat for doing such a great job! I have a true passion and love for animals and I treat each individual pet with the love I would give to my own animals and make sure to cater to their unique needs. I always make sure to listen to the owners wants for their animal and provide the best experience for both pet and owner alike! I guarantee your furry friend will feel cared for and always have a wagging tail! I'm currently working on finding my career so I have lots of spare time to make new furry friends and take them on paw-some adventures! When dog sitting in a client's home, I always use the utmost discretion and respect regarding your home and privacy. I also make sure to thoroughly review any rules/requests made by you and follow them strictly so you can be at ease knowing I will take care of your pet exactly as you would. I like to send picture updates of your fur baby along with a little blurb of what they've been up to, and I always make sure to shower my furry friends with as much love as I give my own.
