Sedra is a gift! I cannot say enough good things about Sedra. I had already used her for walks and check ins, but this time it was for an overnight stay in my home. I had a very stressful emergency situation come up. I reached out to Sedra at the last minute to come stay with my two dogs and she showed up and did an amazing job. When I got home the next day my fur babies were happy and my home was better than I left it. She went completely above and beyond cleaning up my kitchen, stripping my bed, and cleaning up all of my dog poop. (Which was left from days and days earlier than when she was there). She sent me photos while I was away so I already knew my pups were having a good time, but I could also tell by the way they were not desperate to see me upon my arrival, that they had been well fed and well walked. In the past, I have had people care for my dogs, but they don’t take them on long enough walks and don’t let them sniff enough, and when I come home, they are desperate for interaction. As an experienced dog owner, I could tell that they had very good walkies with Sedra. My neighbor even commented on how she was such an attentive dog sitter and asked for her info. Honestly, it’s very stressful for me to leave my dogs overnight I usually just take them with me if I can because it doesn’t feel worth the stress and cost. But this experience brought me relief and peace. I will absolutely use Sedra again for an overnight in my home versus taking my dogs with me. I want her to come and stay and feel welcome and feel at home and make herself comfortable with my girls. Oh and they are used to sleeping on my bed and she let them continue that and sleep with her! Most people crate them and ignore their cries. She really loves animals and is attuned to them. Highly recommended.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG, KEEP SEDRA AWAY FROM THEM Prior to Sedra watching my dog, I shared a Google doc with her with very detailed and explicit instructions, including their schedule and that in order to avoid accidents, needed to be let out regularly. I left thinking my beloved senior dog would be in good care and I was sadly VERY mistaken. Upon my return, I discovered: -My bedroom carpet was soaked with urine -Garbage in my bedroom -Food and fecal material on my bed (I had explicitly asked Sedra to use baby wipes to clean my dog after she uses the restroom because she is old and unable to clean herself, and I know Sedra did not follow these instructions based on the lack of baby wipes in the trash can upon my return, in addition to the fecal material on my bed) -Food spilled on the kitchen floor and splattered on my dishwasher -A dish rag with a small stain on it that smelled foul that was on my kitchen countertop; I asked Sedra if she had any guests over and she denied having any visitors over -Dishes that were "cleaned" but still had food particles on them (when I asked about this, Sedra offered the excuse that she had washed the dishes in the dark, which makes no sense at all when there is lighting throughout the apartment, including the kitchen) -Sedra told me she was vegan but helped herself to a number of non-vegan items in my pantry without asking for permission first -I explicitly told Sedra that due to my dog having osteoarthritis in her hips and degenerative discs in her back that she should use treats sparingly. Upon my return I discovered that she had fed my dog nearly half a jar of peanut butter in two days; when I confronted her about this, she said it was because of her medication, which again does not make any sense as she does not take that many pills -There was blood on part of my dog's mat, I think she may have damaged her tooth as the result of her not being supervised while chewing on a cow hide -I have asked her repeatedly to return the key to my apartment and she has not responded Upon my return, Sedra said she had tried to clean up the urine but couldn't find any cleaning supplies. Prior to my departure, a leak under my kitchen sink was repaired and all of the cleaning supplies that are usually kept under the sink were right next to the dishwasher. There is something VERY off, everything she says either doesn't make sense or clearly is not true.
