Hi! I have cared for a number of dogs at length, offering them intense devotion and love, lots of belly rubs and lots of playtime. I have a strong sensitivity to dogs' emotions and needs and a passion for giving them the absolute best care and companionship possible. I have been able to connect with troubled pups in ways others couldn't, like with the wonderful Pit bull, Sunny, for whom I cared for over a year. He was a joy to be with but difficult on the leash and extremely anxious around other dogs but over our time together, we were able to turn walks into a fun, low-stress activity. Even living the intense NYC lifestyle, I took him out multiple times a day, worked in basic training with treats, bought him many toys and played with him in the park every night. Like with Sunny, I will be able to give your dog the highest level of attention and priority and be highly sensitive to their needs and personalities. With dogs, I am open, gentle, caring and fun, but firm and commanding when it is needed. I have a flexible, freelancer schedule and can work my time in ways that allow me to be available when your pup(s) need me to be. I also have a car and can travel easily (to pick up the pup or to the park or beach for playtime). I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dog!
