Hello! My name is Séarlait. I'm a Northern Irish lass and I design and make jewellery from my studio in Leeds City Centre and I'm seeking some furry friends to keep me company during the day. I make the short journey from my home to Leeds on the train (15 minutes) so your furry would need to be happy traveling on the train. I live with my boyfriend Liam and we are both big animal lovers and have had our little cat called Olive for 4 years now, but we're both mad about dogs. Last year while traveling in our self converted campervan we house sat two dogs for a month in France (a German Shepard and a Maltese so little and large!), and we have house sat various family members dogs while they go on holiday. I would love to be able to take advantage of my very lucky position to be working for myself in my own studio, with some quality dog cuddling time, and I can promise you your furry friend will be well loved in my company. At home, my house is small but cosy and although it only has a small back yard, living in Saltaire village I've very lucky to have plenty of places to walk right on my doorstep, and I'd be very glad to have a friend to have fun with. Equally if your pooch prefers to take it easy, or is a little bit later in life and likes a good snooze, they can snooze the day away in their bed and then keep me warm on the sofa on an evening. Whatever works for your pooch works for me :) I'll be completely honest and say that Olive (my cat) hasn't had a pooch stay in her territory before as this would be the first time I've had a dog come to stay in this house but as she's the epitome of a 'scaredy cat', I can't see there being any issues, but she can be closed somewhere separate if needs be :) Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend :) Séarlait x
