I've owned both cats and dogs since I was 5. Currently own two well trained maltese terrier dogs. I volunteered with the red cross in caring for the animals for an emergency disaster relief shelter when hurricane Harvey hit texas. Was taking care of about 22 cats and dogs for about a month and a half working 12 hour shifts, the animals all stood in kennels. we would try and take the dogs out every hour and a half. It made me realize that I genuinely love working with animals, whether they are cats, dogs or even horses which I was able to see while I was out there. I'm very fun, energetic, and compassionate. I was the only one who was able to handle some of the animals with more energy due to the huge amount of patience that I have.
