Pet care experience
I have been helping to take care of dogs for my whole life. From the family dogs we had when I was a kid, to the year after university when I worked as a dog-walker. Now, whenever I visit my family in Ontario, there are always dogs at our house and I am an integral part in helping to take care of them.

I currently live in a pet-free residence, so I cannot have pets at my home. However, whether I am just walking your dog or taking care of them for an extended period of time, I will always make sure to put their safety and comfort above all else. If they aren't comfortable around other dogs, we won't even look at another dog! I would only let them off-leash in a secure area (ex. fenced-in backyard) and only if it is something they are used to.

I have no preference in terms of breed, size or age, I've worked with almost every kind of dog. The more information you can give me about their behaviour, the better. How do they react to other dogs when walking? Are they very protective over their food or toys? Do they not like loud noises? The more information I know to make them feel safe, the better.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs entertained and engaged in a way that is unique and specific to them. Do they prefer walks or playing fetch in the backyard? Do they have a lot of energy or are they in the mood for a nap on the couch? Whatever they want or need at any given moment is what I will give them.

I'm currently a student, in the Bachelor of Education program. I have a relatively flexible schedule and will only accept clients that I know fit into my schedule. I am incredibly reliable and if I say I can be there, I will be.
