My friends say I have "dog radar"
Pet care experience
I love dogs. I grew up with them, I've helped train them, I've dogsat for family and friends alike. Wherever I am, I'm aware if there's a dog within fifty feet of me. And I've learned a lot about them over the years. You always ask a dog owner for permission before approaching their animal. Stay above them, and make eye contact when issuing commands. Be stern, but don't shout. Praise is often more constructive than correction, especially in the long run. Some disobedient actions are pleas for attention, and ignoring it is the best deterrent. You are in charge, and both you and the dog need to know that. When I go to see my parents, the first thing I do is grab a leash and head to the nearby woods with their dog. It's the most relaxing part of my trips home. I love being around dogs, and I'm excited to have more opportunities to do so.
Reviews
Sean is the quintessential dog lover. My adopted dog (Cooper) experiences pretty severe separation anxiety, and Sean has been a huge help by spending many hours with Cooper and keeping him company in addition to dog-sitting for us overnight at both our home and at Sean's own home. Sean seeks out opportunities to spend time with dogs and has a lot of (informal) experience with them; given this, I believe he would make a great dog sitter, dog walker, and companion for anyone's canine as he works to build his formal/ professional dog-care resume. Sean is trustworthy, honest, and reliable and is sure to make your dog (and you) happy and well cared for!
Sean is your ideal dog sitter. Growing up with a golden retriever he has developed a passion for dogs and is more than willing to take care of them. He's had previous experiences taking care of family and friends dogs both big and small. Lastly, he's the type of dog sitter that will give your dog quality time so it has time to interact and receive mental stimulation as well as physical activity. If you're looking for someone to take care of your pup, Sean's your guy.

Information Sean T. would like to know about your pet
-does the dog have any history of not getting along with other animals or strangers? -how does the dog behave on- and off-leash? -are there specific commands that the dog responds well to? Struggles with? -how possessive is it about its food?
A typical day
Parks, wooded areas - anywhere there isn't concrete with plenty of smells to engage the dog's brain and lots of ground to cover. If there's a safe, enclosed area, the dog will get bored of playing fetch there long before I will.
