I recently moved here to work at a local zoo. I've been working in the zoological field since 2007 with rhinoceros, hoofstock, small mammals and birds. I've always wanted to work with animals, and after years of doing so, I can say that sometimes dogs and cats can be as much of a challenge as a hippopotamus! But I've had lots of epxerience with both lol. I have two cats, and until she passed, my boyfriend and I had a dog (Honey was the best!). I got my first dog in the 7th grade and I've always had cats. I started dogsitting for friends when I moved to Florida in 2010, and I found out about this site then! I've dealt with a lot of dogs in one household (7!), medications, different diets, etc. Your pets are my pets, and pets are family. :) I am flexible based on location and length of stay. I prefer to stay at your house due to the ease of that in terms of scheduling, and this also makes it easier on your pets, staying in the same environment. I currently work a 9-5 job Tuesdays-Saturdays. Hope to hear from you...we'll see what we can do.
