Pet care experience
I grew up around animals. My family always had pets throughout my entire life, and when I got my first place, I went and got a Siberian Husky (Radio) because I wanted a challenge. She had a very loving 13 years and just recently we've adopted a pair of bonded sister cats from a rescue in Yakima (Taiga and Shiloh) and they fill our home with joy.

Sean took great care of all the critters and kept us informed of what was going on at home while we were gone. Hilda needed some extra TLC and he kept up with her meds and special needs. We're very grateful for his care.
Sean was a dream. I had never left my dog before and he come over and went over all my concerns. He was perfect with all my aminals and I will definitely use him again!

I think that a solid understanding and discussion with the pet parents is essential to establishing the proper boundaries, procedures, etc... and once those procedures are established, you can go from there. Every pet is different and some need active attention, some just need a human friend to keep their separation anxiety at bay.

Medical information is the most important thing to know. Many animals have medical issues and special care needs to be taken for them. It's also good to know if a dog is aggressive to other dogs and how reactive they are to new people and animals.
A typical day
Walks and trips to local parks, beaches or off leash areas and other types of enrichment activities. It is important to get a feel for what the Pet would like to do. Some love to chase tennis balls, some just love to run, some enjoy dog park socializing. Getting to know the personality of the Pet is the most important thing.
