I’ve always loved animals growing up! My parents had anywhere from 4 to 10 cats (yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds) whom I fed, gave water, and played with, and a lot of our road trips were to zoos or to see wildlife. Regarding dogs, I owned one with an ex-girlfriend, and we did a good job sharing responsibilities and making sure Dasher (an adorable 25-pound puggle) walked at least twice per weekday, usually more, and she had regular vet visits and a feeding schedule. A gross compliment—but compliment nonetheless—was that she called me “the poop whisperer” for my ability to get Dasher to poop when we needed to, especially before work. I’ve since cared for several friends’ dogs when they go out of town. I love animals, plain and simple, and one of my friends suggested I get on this app if I want to turn that love of animals into a way where I can earn a little money while helping people. So here I am.
