Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own dogs for the full duration of their lives(12 years). The twins were lap dogs but I would look forward to learning from and getting to care for dogs of any and all sizes.

Sean was wonderful with my sweet, aging pug! Ralphie is very attached to me, so I was worried about his constant looking out the window and generally feeling anxious . While we did have Sean come at various times of the day to visit and walk Ralphie, which helped with the comfort level before my 10 day trip, mostly it was just Sean paying attention to and snuggling with Him. He couldn’t have been more attentive and careful with Ralph. He gave multiple pills twice a day, Fed him and gave eye drops morning and evening. Ralphie clearly loves him (Sean let him sleep with him)and I will certainly ask him to come again!
Sean is amazing! He’s super communicative during the process and fulfilled all our requests. We definitely trust him with our pets.
Sean was great, kept me updated and the house was in perfect condition when I got home.
I would highly recommend Sean as a dog caregiver and our dogs, Coco and Ginger would too. Dogs seem to immediately sense Seans love and acceptance. Sean grew up with lots of fur family members (dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish) and has a huge and loving heart for animals. He was a dog sitter in high school and understands that a pet is someone’s irreplaceable treasure. He shows great care and responsibility that pets are completely dependent on us for their care and safety.

I currently do not live with my own dogs being at school. But animals are always a commitment that require some form of structure. 3 walks a day with a meal following each walk and water always available to them throughout the day. My girlfriend lives in a house with two cats and when I am over there they occasionally join me when I sleep. With my experience with animals, cats and dogs, they need about 15mins to an hour of active connection and friendliness depending on the specific animal. No matter what it’s about meeting the animal where they’re at and taking from that so they can be given back to accordingly.

A typical day
I always want to make sure the dog/animal is having fun or peaceful. The way we can do that is by maximizing our walks and indulging in the the areas around the house. If the dog doesn’t play well with other dogs or humans then I make sure they are receiving enough attention and assistance for that as well.

Availability
I am starting school again in the Fall, I’ll be a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University. With school, the week days will be a little full because I will have class until 8pm most days. But my weekends are free and Im willing to be as flexible as my schedule allows me to be!
