Pet care experience
I have had a family pet for as long as I've been alive. We've had three dogs and a cat. If I wasn't watching my own dog, I was watching a neighbor's. During my undergraduate years in Savannah, my dog lived with me - while I juggled school and three jobs. I also volunteered at the ASPCA in Savannah as well as the the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover, NJ. I love being around dogs and in addition to the exercise that they are receiving, I get a little break from all the reading I have to do for grad school. :D I thought about being a babysitter, but animals are just so much my speed at the moment! Sean is an excellent dog walker! He's great with both of my dogs, Boone and Bubba. He walks my dogs daily while I'm at work - he's very reliable and great with them both. I would recommend him in a heart beat!

I need to know the age and any health issues with your dog for walking purposes - i.e. arthritis. If your dog has any behavioral issues or trouble associating with other animals. What are their reactions to squirrels, birds, etc? I would also like to know what level of training the dog has received, so I can better orient myself with the needs of the dog. I don't have a real preference for any particular breed - I owned a Chocolate Lab, so I have a predilection for labs!
A typical day
For me walking the dog is a meditative process, I love taking dogs on a long walk and seeing them tired by the end of the walk. My dog wasn't as big of a fan of catch as I am, so I'm always down to play catch with your dog! And whatever other services or activities you request, I'm sure I can provide!
