Dogs are magnetized to me, I have been taking care of dogs both strays and pets since I was 5. I have a preternatural kinship with dogs. Even injured dogs know I'm a friend (one example is with my canine companion a black lab I named Zeus, I met him one day as I was taking a stroll around the neighborhood he had come up to me with a torn open leg, looked as though he had just gotten struck by a car, I patiently nursed him back to health and he has since became a loved member of the family). I also have experience taking care of elderly dogs, a neighbor had an elderly chihuahua named Bella she could no longer care for, she came to live with us as a hospice dog, given only one month to live, she was with us for two additional years longer than they had projected. I am available morning, noon and night. I believe in using positive reinforcement for good behavior.
