Very reliable, kind and detail oriented. Had every confidence in Scotti’s care while away! Happy pup and very happy owner in return.
Living vicariously through pups
By day: college-educated (biology and environmental studies at Lewis & Clark), active, easy-going, instructions-following, toddler nanny who misses her dog of 9 beautiful, tail-wagging years. I’m used to messes, mischief, poop, power struggles, holding limits, and being an effective communicator to creatures who can’t verbally respond. I can read body language (human and canine) like Ira Glass can tell stories.
By evening/night: dog buddy, belly rub provider, walking partner, leash holder, waste ...
What Scotti would like to know about your dog
I don’t have breed preferences or any breed that I will not care for. Before sitting, I ask for any and all contact information for the dog’s human companions, veterinarians along with their hours, nearest or prefered emergency vet clinic, feeding times and frequency, any medical issues or medications (dose, timing, and frequency), typical energy level, how frequently the dog eliminates, if the dog is up to date on shots, temperment with other dogs on and off leash, and standard walking distance per day. I write all instructions and information down by hand and carry with me at all times.
