Fenced yard, active dog of my own!
Pet care experience
I've had either a dog, a cat(s), or both for the last 25 years. I currently have a 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer of my own and am always happy to take care of your pets! I'm happy to help with training if you've been working on anything specific.
Reviews
Scott was terrific! Great communication, very flexible and accommodating, quiet and peaceful home with a great backyard, and super sweet pup Copper. Was a perfect setting for my anxious, high-energy dog, and I felt like she was in very good hands from start to finish. Will definitely be back. Thank you, Scott!
Scott was a great sitter! My dog fit in perfectly with his dog copper. Communication was great and drop off pick up was flexible and convenient! Thanks Scott! ☺️
Scott is responsive, trustworthy and friendly - traits that are comforting when boarding a dog away from home. The experience exceeded our expectations and we'll definitely be using Scott again. Highly recommended by me and my high energy pointer!
Scott was great! My dog loved hanging with him and his dog while I was a way for over a week!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and live right next to Shelby park, which is great for walks. I have a 2nd bedroom/office with a bed, which I call "Copper's room", and a couple couches as well, so there is no shortage of space for the dogs to relax.

Information Scott W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is crate trained and how they behave with other dogs. I'm happy to deal with any oddities but would like to be aware ahead of time.
A typical day
I live a few blocks from Shelby park and typically walk down and around it twice a day. Typically I'll walk them in the morning, then let them play in the backyard while I have breakfast, with the goal of naptime soon after. Then repeat in the afternoon. There are toys and balls all around the house and backyard for them to play with.

Availability
I'm on my own flexible schedule working from home so can be available when needed. I typically exercise my own dog at 6:30am and between 3 and 5pm each day and he's constantly back and forth between the backyard and house while I work from home.
