I had a Border Collie and a Dalmatian growing up. I adopted a Greyhound which is a difficult dog to care for. I recently learned from the American Kennel Society that some dogs need mental stimulation to keep from getting bored. Some breeds will even become destructive if not mentally stimulated. There are many games and exercises I can do with your dog to keep him/ her from getting bored if you want, such as hide and seek with their toys or even as simple as tug of war.
