Summer Camp for Dogs!
Pet care experience
We built Summer Camp for Dogs. Because they deserve some fun while you're away! Read more below. :) I have had dogs my entire life. I was a foster dog parent, has taken care of over 50 little ones on short-term notice (with a few tears shed at goodbyes). Our family (me, my wife, and our 11-year old daughter) recently lost our two furry friends and aren't yet ready to make a 10+ year commitment to caring for another one, but we love to have little cold wet noses in the house, so we'll be happy to welcome yours. We also just welcomed a new baby human into our lives and will have an au pair joining us shortly - so plenty of folks in the house to give love, attention, and consistent training. I am also available to do training during their stay. Please let me know if there is anything you'd like me to work on, either continuing your work or beginning anew.
Reviews
Scott and his family were wonderful for my Val and Kaipo. They sent lots of videos, pictures, and updates on how everyone was doing which was lovely. They even had the time to take my cat Kaipo for a walk in their yard which was wonderful. They were very caring and loving and I can tell Val and Kaipo had a great time with Scott. I would absolutely ask them to watch my fuzzy ones again!
Scott and his family are very accepting of Kamali’i as their own family member. I really trust them that they have watched her twice ❤️🐾
Such an amazing time with Scott and family again! My dog is a returning client and he had a great time, thanks again!
Scott and his family are amazing sitters! My dog Poncho had a great time, will be using them again soon!

I work from home so walks are frequent and lengthy (probably more for me than the pup). Also in the house are my wife (dog lover), 11yo daughter (dog lover and animal whisperer), and au pair (coming soon) - who will be there to add love and attention as your little one. We have an infant but she doesn't help out that much yet. :)

Information Scott T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any habits or rituals that they should be expecting. For example, before they eat, are they expected to sit, stay, and wait for a specific word? When they come home from a walk and need to get their harness off and feet cleaned, what's the process?
A typical day
Generally I will take them on two shorter potty walks, one longer socialization/exploration walk, and one long play session in our yard or at a park. Break time for me at work means play time for the pet - and I need a lot of breaks!

Availability
Summer Camp for Dogs Schedule: Sunday: Beach day!! We will go for a swim in the Magic Island Lagoon. Monday: Hiking. Get your dog-boots on because we're going to head up a mountain. Tuesday: Walk time! We're going to do some studying at home but after that, biiiiiiig walk! Wednesday: We need a break, so let's cuddle up on the couch, Pupflix and chill. A Dog's Purpose or Hachi? Thursday: Doggercise! Dog-appropriate speed through the park. Friday: My work week is almost over and I'm done - what you feeling? Beach again? Ok I'm down! Saturday: Drive! Put your little dog face out the window and enjoy the breeze as we take a long drive to another part of the island. I am work-from-home, so literally any time is a good time and they'll get plenty of attention during the day. I have a consistent schedule and own my own company, so I get to take walk breaks whenever I want. :)
