Sit, Walk, Play!

Pet care experience

I grew up in a house with many dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes from puppy/kitten to senior. We also had horses that I cared for. I’d pet sit for friends and family and spent a year fostering a skunk. I love walking and hiking with dogs. A few years ago I rescued two pregnant kitties and fostered their 6 babies. I’m experienced with administering medications, bathing, training, socializing, and able to prepare and feed conventional and raw diets.

We are so glad to have found Scott! His calming presence and obvious experience with dogs (and other animals too) were so reassuring. We felt very comfortable to have our Great Dane enjoy a day with him at his home - we fully recommend Scott!

My guy, Gordo, has been walked by Scott for 3 weeks now. His anxiety level is down and so is his excessive barking when we go out in public. We having been moving around the country for about a year and he became a bit anxious during our travels. Scott is his therapist now. Thank you, Scott.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a wonderful and safe neighborhood with many walking paths and nearby parks. Your furbabies will get lots of outdoor activity and fresh air. I have a fenced-in backyard where they can lounge during the day. I do have cats at home, if needed I can keep them separated at your request. Your furbabies will have free roam of the house.

Information Scott S. would like to know about your pet

Important information to know about a dog, cat, and client are boundaries and any special needs they may have as well as any incidents with previous caretakers. What is okay and not okay in regards to discipline, feeding, social encounters are just a few things to discuss before accepting a booking.

A typical day

A typical fun day could involve a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a visit to the local park, if we're looking for an adventure, maybe even a hike. We could also spend the day relaxing at home with lots of belly rubs and laps in the yard. It all comes down to what they love to do, their activity level and needs.
