I'm the gent who asks if I may pet your dog on the street. I was the solo caretaker of my beloved Gracie from 1999 to 2010. During those years, I walked her extensively and played with her, year in and year out, through all kinds of weather, through sickness and health. My lovely wife and I married in 2014, and while we'd love to have a dog, our apartment restricts pets, and we travel often. I'm a freelance writer and film critic, so I'm home full-time. I will treat your dog as if she or he is my own. Also, I find that walking stimulates the creative juices, so walking your dog and my writing life will, I like to think, be reciprocally benificent.
