My friend's dog, an elderly Chihuahua, "hates everyone," or so he claims. He shrieks at all who come through his door---except for me. I'm known as the little guy's "only and best friend," and it's been that way with all animals! Dogs, birds, and cats seem to be naturally trusting of me. I'm an avid student of pet psychology, so I know how to avoid unintentionally making them feel uncomfortable when other people likely don't realize that's what they're doing. Dogs just want friends to play with and some loving attention! I'm also a former volunteer EMS personnel, but I cannot say I am professionally trained in animal medical care. I'm the perfect person to make sure your dog is well taken care of until you get home.
