Pet care experience
Dogs are Family and are treated with the same respect and love. My focus is their safety and happiness, wherever they are, whoever owns them, whatever they do! I have been completely vetted on Trusted House Sitters with excellent references, as well as Lone Star Shi-tzu and Lhasa Apso Rescue. We have adopted one dog from the Houston Humane Society, one dog from a neighbor, and our current Lhasese from LSSLAR where we are also are qualified fosters. I have house-sat two large dogs (one adopted) in Green Mountain Falls and Keystone ,Colorado, and Two medium dogs in The Woodlands and Austin, TX. Walks, feeding, and outside time is as routine as weather permits. I am particularly aware of warmer temperatures and caring for dogs.

I met Scott and his family when they adopted a dog from the rescue I volunteer for. I was and am very impressed with the knowledge and experience he has with dogs. I would feel very comfortable leaving my own doggies in his care.
Scott took amazing care of my 2 dogs when I went out of town. They probably missed him when he left. He was able to hike them ever day and they really enjoyed the exercise. My house was in clean condition upon arrival home. I would definitely hire him again.

I like all dogs, all breeds. I want to know the typical routine. Dogs like routine. I also want to know what triggers they may have: Children, thunder, fireworks, smokers, mail-person, other dogs. Also must know special needs (diet/meds). Need to have vet info.
A typical day
All dogs are different. Some do not like kids, and need to avoid family events (festivals in the park) or they may not like other dogs, and going to an off-leash dog park might not be a good idea. I like to take dogs on a shorter walk to determine their stamina and needs.
