Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and still love being a caregiver to this day. Currently, I am a regular dog-sitter for two families in Washington, D.C. who have dogs with special needs. I am also a regular dog sitter for my family in rural Pennsylvania so love taking long walks and exploring new places. I currently work from home full-time, but am a part-time graduate student as well. Generally, I am in my home all day but leave for occassional evening courses (no longer than 4-5 hours). Otherwise, I am flexible and have the ability to be present nearly all day. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a fenced courtyard. While the dog will never be off-lease in this area, it is helpful for late night potty breaks and a little fresh air. I am .2 miles from the Bundi Dog Park which is open daily for 7 am - 7 pm. I am also able to travel to any area of D.C. due to my work schedule and flexibility so I can even watch your pet in your home! I also offer ALL the cuddles and plenty of love.

Schuyler was great with Henry! He’s a little bit of a fussy dog with new walkers, but he really liked walking with her. Always seemed very happy on his walks!

I would be interested to know the dogs size and their daily schedule before working with a dog as well as their reactivity to noise, as I do live in an apartment building walk-up.
A typical day
I love to go for walks exploring the neighborhood. I live 0.2 miles from the Bundi Dog Park which is open 7 am - 7 pm but I am willing to travel even further. I also love exploring wooded areas so we could wander through Rock Creek Park or even parks in NoVa. I also love just hanging on the couch and would love a cuddly companion to join me anytime.
