Son of a vet, and friend to all!
Pet care experience
As a son of a veterinarian, I have grown up with a household of dogs and cats. It was important in my upbringing to learn to take care of the animals. Seeing to their needs was more than just exercise or potty time. It was treating them as the individuals they were! Playing with them, respecting their boundaries, and also maintaining the boundaries. In my own home I have maintained these skills and values. My dad has also given me plenty of second hand experience in treating pets for medical concerns, whether that is simply trimming overlong nails, to shaving, giving medicine, and handling bandages or casts. I have also helped pet sit for neighbors as I grew up in my early years. During my time in graduate school, my roommates trusted me to be able to see to their pets needs, and a colleague has repeatedly had me stay in their house with their dog and cat. The latter has kept me posted as their go-to for pet-sitting, as they know how excited their pets get when I open that door. Plus, I leave their house cleaner than I find it!
Reviews
Fantastic house and dog sitter, came home to an orderly state with happy pups. Also quite the excellent communicator and photographer too!
Professional, courteous, accommodating , kept us well informed. Would hire again.
Schuyler was great! He came and did a walk through before staying with us and asked great questions! During the stay he sent so many photos and left the place just as we left it. He kept us updated with his day and Lunas day. I would highly recommend his dog sitting and we hope to hire him again!!
Schuyler was great with our dog and cat! He's very responsive and professional to work with. He took notes during our meet and greet and left our home in perfect condition. I'd gladly ask him to house sit for us again. Thank you Schuyler!

Safety, trust & environment
For safety, I would like to know where the pets leashes, food, water, and litter box/pooping areas traditionally are. If they are primarily expected to go out back, if they only do it on walks, etc. I need to be able to work within the rhythms that your pets are accustomed to, so they don't get any more stressed when a stranger comes to take care of them. If there is any medication necessary, I have training to help administer it to the pets, but will need instruction on the type of medication, and the dosage. Finally, are their any commands for your pets I should know, or any bad behaviors I should be on the look out for. I don't want to encourage things you are trying to train your pet out of, and I want to make certain they only get into approved types of trouble (such as wrestling).
Information Schuyler S. would like to know about your pet
Is there any commands or behaviors I should know about your dog? Any bad behaviors I should be discouraging, such as getting on furniture, chewing on things that aren't toys, or approaching other people or dogs when outside? Are there any medications or health concerns I should know? How and when do such treatments get administered? Is there a schedule to feeding them, how much food, and in what manner?
A typical day
I enjoy to take the dogs on walks around their neighborhood. Letting them explore and move at their own pace, while not letting them get too far, and maintain a schedule. In or out of the house, I love playing with the dogs, either with toys, or wrestling. Whatever the dog engages with more. Rest time is important too, but depending on the area and the dog, those will be my two reliable strategies.

Availability
I am currently working part-time in Boulder. I will be free in evenings and some afternoons on weekdays, though plenty of my work can be done remotely. Weekends, starting on Friday, I can be completely available, from dawn till dusk, as necessary.
