I am currently a student at Winona State University and I live there 8/9 months out of the year. I'm going to school for Business Administration and Management Information Systems. I have one dog of my own, her name is Vivian and she's the absolute light of my life. During the summer, I work full time as an intern in my hometown(Sioux Falls, SD), but still have plenty of time to spend with my pets. I've always loved animals! I grew up with a cat named Thunder. In my younger years, I had two guinea pigs(Snickers and Midnight), many fish, many hermit crabs(as many as 8 at one time), and a few toads! I would also bake dog treats from scratch and take them around to dogs in the neighborhood, all of which I knew by name. The most memorable was Jake, a white german shepherd that lived across the street. At the age of 12, I got my first dog! His name is Pre and he passed away this year at 10 years old! One year later, my family got Delila, who is now 8 years old! Over the years I've learned a lot about dogs and my passion has only grown. At the beginning of 2017, I joined the local kennel club and started participating in agility classes with Pre. This summer I took a puppy class with my dog Vivian and a manners class with Delila! If I have free time, I research dogs health and how I can improve their health through supplements, high quality kibbles, or vet services. I have a binder with information ranging from dog diets and exercise, spay/neuter effects, and different dog breeds(temperament and common health problems). My long term dream is to own my own dog boarding facility, because dogs are my passion! Lastly, I would like to say that I would love to care for your dog! I will follow your instructions for their care and make them feel like a part of my family.
