Pet care experience
My husband had a chocolate lab when we met 10 years ago, and we grew incredibly close..he became my baby! I also grew up with dogs. After our lab passed away, we got our current dog, Neo, who is a German Shepherd and just about 5 years old now. Before we got Neo, we read 4+ books on dog training and put together a 10+ page guide for our use. I have also had Neo through two obedience classes. I enjoy all dogs, learning about them, and interacting/training them! I am a stay at home mom and full time “dog mom” and thus have a very flexible schedule during the week. I look forward to the chance to meet you and your pup!

Savannah has extensive experience with dogs and is an excellent dog walker. Her incredibly strong muscles can handle dogs of any size! She takes great care of all dogs is extremely passionate about animals. Savannah is super sweet and loving (to animals and people alike!) and I would trust her with any of my pets.
I met Savannah over 6 years ago and we instantly hit it off. She is the type of women than kids and animals flock too. She has more patience than anyone could ever ask for. She is assertive, yet calm. She does a great job with all animals and takes pride in training, walking, and spending time with them.

I have a large fenced yard in a great neighborhood worthy of lots of walks! Our dog can take a little to get used to people and/or other dogs but once he gets familiar he won’t leave them alone! He is crate trained, so I’m very familiar with that if yours needs that as well.
Information Savannah W. would like to know about your pet
No real preference. Males or females, big or small. I grew up with everything from pit bulls to chihuahua’s. If you have a very large dog, I ask him to be leash trained somewhat if we are to go on a walk. Training collars can also be helpful for less manageable dogs, at the owners choice.
A typical day
A lot is dependent on what can be worked out with the owner and their location to various activities. We take our current dog on hikes, trails, sidewalks around town, the dog park, swimming, etc. About 4-5 years ago we took Neo on a 2 month, 8000 mile camping trip across the US and Canada where we camped nearly every night. Also - I am very OCD about making sure to pick up after a pet!

I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’m pretty flexible during the week! Weekends can vary depending on our family schedule but willing to work around that if needed.
