Pet care experience
I volunteered at the Animal Humane society in high school caring for animals who weren't ready for adoption. I grew up with dogs my whole life and would love to adopt a dog but I currently don’t have enough time to care for a dog full time. I have never owned a cat, but have grown up around cats. If needed we can arrange baths, hikes, etc. during a day or overnight visit.

Savannah was so patient with our shy pup, Lucy. Lucy is curious but nervous about new people, and this is the fastest we’ve seen her warm up to anyone! She was very good about letting Lucy come to her on her own terms, and by the end Lucy was all over her!
Savannah was very sweet and caring with my senior dog who was not feeling quite himself when she was caring for him. She communicated well and was very flexible. I would highly recommend Savannah!
Savannah is a great puppy sitter! She takes such great care of my seven month old mitt who is full of energy. He even gets to go on hikes with her :) i highly recommend Savannah for your dog care.
My puppy had so much fun with Savannah! He was very happy and tired when I picked him up from daycare and clearly got lots of attention from Savannah and her roommates.

I live on the third floor of an apartment building in the RiNo art district. My building is very pet friendly and even has a dog bath for residents to use (though I do not have dog shampoo or conditioner). I have one roommate who also loves animals. We are extremely organized so it will be hard for animals to get into anything they shouldn’t have. We do not have any fenced in areas, but I have a car that I can take to a dog park nearby if need be. Our friend has a cat who stays at our place from time to time, but I will confirm whether the cat is at our place before any stays. Animals are allowed on all furniture and snuggles are encouraged!

I would love to know what situation I am walking into or example - if the dog is scared of new people, if they frequently have accidents/where the paper towels and cleaner are, if they can’t eat anything specific/have allergies to food, etc. Just little details I can use to make the dog more comfortable with a stranger coming in to their home!
A typical day
I love to get on the ground and play with younger dogs who have the energy but I also love to cuddle with older dogs who just want some love and attention. I’m more than happy to take dogs for walks or practice new commands you are in the process of teaching them.

I work a full time job (M-F 9-5) in Aurora, but am available to stop in for walks after work or watch dogs on weekends.
