Pet care experience
I've taken care of my two dogs since I was 10. They both passed away this year and I really miss having pups in my life. My greater swiss mountain dog had cancer and was accustomed to giving him medicine and massages for his arthritis. I have also cared for a boxer with chronic uti's, taking her out to the bathroom every forty minutes. I love dogs and no medical problem is an obstacle for me to take care of :) Youngest dog I've worked with: 2 months Oldest dog I've worked with: 16 years

Savannah was wonderful! Our dog had a blast with lots of walks/outside time and snuggles. Savannah provided lots of pictures and videos while we were gone. We would have her dog sit again in a heartbeat.

Over night pet sits: I allow dogs on furniture, and beds. I also have an extra memory foam dog bed in my living room. Fenced in yard for easy access to go potty. Chewables and hazards are all picked up and put into a plastic bin. Dog walks: Willing to take dogs to any preferred park by owner, if not preferred I live in close proximity to thornden park and Barry park, and walks can be done there easily. **June 2nd-June 31st I will be living in Boulder, CO and doing Rover work there, I will be in a two story home in the central boulder area. The above spots mentioned are where I usually go when I'm in New York * at my boulder house I live very close to North Boulder park & typically walk there.

I like to know what age the dog is, what exercise needs the dog has, if there is medication that I should give the dog, and just general guidelines for what the pup is used to. I try to generally feed the dogs at the same time their owner would and allow them to sleep where they would in their home.
A typical day
I typically take the dogs on a morning and evening walk. Dogs that need higher exercise needs I have a longer loop I will do with them to calm them down. I have a bin of toys for the dogs and like to play with them in my backyard or around the house.

Availability
I am a junior at Syracuse University and classes have concluded for the summer, so I am available all week. Hours may be limited on some mornings due to track practice but I am very flexible and typically at home. I live within walking distance to thornden park and Barry park.
